GTA VI Release Delayed: One of the hottest video game titles of the year, Grand Theft Auto VI (GTA), will be delayed until May 26, 2026. Rockstar Games announced this on Friday (May 2), much to the disappointment of fans. The sequel to the record-shattering video game chain was supposed to be launched on consoles late this year after a teasing first trailer released in December 2023.

Rockstar Games released the official statement, according to which they said:
*"This delay is more than you expected, and we realize how disappointing this is. The excitement and interest around GTA VI has been so inspiring for everyone on our team. We want to thank you for your support and patience, since we are working very hard to complete this game."*

The reaction has been terribly vocal on social media since the announcement. Many have said it was now too difficult to wait for **13 years** for this game. Some of the top reactions:
